Who is it for?

Best for factories, hotels, hospitals and large buildings with 9–16 cameras — Gigabit ports also suit Wi-Fi access points and 4K / high-bitrate cameras. The SFP slot lets you connect a fibre link to a far building or the main server room.

16 PoE ports means up to 16 IP cameras, one per port. The 300 W total PoE budget gives about 18.8 W per port when every port is busy — most 2MP–5MP IP cameras typically draw 4–8 W, so a full set of standard cameras runs comfortably. PTZ or heater cameras draw more; check the camera's spec sheet.

Why NEXELTRON

  • PoE Watchdog auto-reboot — a hung camera restarts on its own, saving site visits.
  • Heavy-duty power supply — the power supply is the most common PoE failure point, so ours is over-specified.
  • 250 m Extend mode — reach cameras a standard 100 m switch cannot.
  • 2KV surge protection — built for Indian power conditions and lightning-prone areas.
  • Local stock & next-day replacement — no long import waits on warranty.

Frequently asked questions

How many cameras can the NEXELTRON 16 Port Gigabit PoE Switch + 2 SFP run?

16 PoE ports means up to 16 IP cameras, one per port. The 300 W total PoE budget gives about 18.8 W per port when every port is busy — most 2MP–5MP IP cameras typically draw 4–8 W, so a full set of standard cameras runs comfortably. PTZ or heater cameras draw more; check the camera's spec sheet.

What is the price of the NEXELTRON 16 port PoE switch?

The 16Gb PoE + 2Gb Uplink + 2 SFP model (NX-SW-009) has an MRP of ₹12,999 including GST. Dealers get separate dealer pricing — apply on the website or call 1800 180 4044.

What is PoE Watchdog auto-reboot?

If a connected camera hangs and stops responding, the switch detects it and power-cycles only that port, so the camera restarts by itself — no technician visit needed.

Can I run a camera more than 100 metres away?

Yes. Normal Ethernet is limited to about 100 m. Turn on Extend mode and the switch can reach a camera up to 250 m away (at reduced speed, which is fine for CCTV).

Do I need Gigabit ports for CCTV?

Not for normal 2MP–5MP cameras, but Gigabit (1000 Mbps) ports give plenty of headroom for 4K cameras, high bitrates and Wi-Fi access points.

Where do you deliver and what warranty do I get?

We supply across India from Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. Every switch carries a 1-year certified warranty with next-day replacement from local stock. Call 1800 180 4044 or WhatsApp +91 79005-88588.
